Inspiration-
This collage tells the story of Boat House 4's history with WW2 and the military. I identified the key historic elements along with the area in which the building is located it has a strong link with the sea water runs throughout the building. Furthermore the building is in itself very industrial as well as always being used as a construction yard for boats.
Object 1-
(Industrial materials and linear design)
The object represents the vast open space within Boat House 4 and I chose to use wire mesh to emulate the large amount of metal within the structure of the building as well as the linear structure.
Object 2-
(Water and the Sea)
This object represents the element of water within the building and its translucent properties as well as the natural light that is found in Boat House 4 due to the large windows both in the walls and the roof.
