As a passionate interior architect with a First Class degree, I specialize in designing dynamic and engaging spaces that blend functionality with creativity. Currently working as a Draughtsperson for a leading events management company, I have the privilege of bringing large-scale events to life.
Through this job, I’ve contributed to high-profile projects such as Pride in London, Formula E, and the UEFA Champions Festival, providing both technical operational drawings and creative renders bringing the clients visions to reality. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but also fuelled my commitment to creating impactful, immersive environments that resonate with diverse audiences.
My Story
Degree Level
During my Interior Architecture degree, I focused on adaptive reuse and community design, which involved redesigning and repurposing existing buildings to meet modern needs while preserving their historical or cultural value. I aimed to create spaces that foster a sense of connection and inclusivity within the community. Using advanced tools like Vectorworks for drafting and Ketchup for 3D modeling, I was able to bring my design concepts to life with precision and clarity.
Post Degree
Working as a Draughtsperson for an events management company, I create detailed technical drawings and work on-site during live events. This role has not only allowed me to bridge the gap between design and execution but also given me the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of events. This hands-on experience has enhanced my ability to design functional, efficient sites that meet both creative and logistical needs in fast-paced environments.
